
Timo Moeller
Timo Moeller is a seasoned operational leader and commercial strategist with nearly two decades of global experience in the renewable energy sector. He partners with mission-driven organizations to accelerate clean energy adoption, optimize operations, and design actionable roadmaps for market and product entry—with measurable, long-term results.
Timo’s foundation in operational discipline, structured problem-solving, and performance consistency was shaped early in his career at BASF SE, the world’s largest chemical producer, over 30 years ago. There, he gained hands-on experience in mature, process-driven environments where safety, compliance, and operational excellence were non-negotiable. These principles continue to define his leadership style today.
Before joining Optimized Sustainability Solutions, Timo served as Chief Commercial Officer, President International and Managing Director at NovaSource Power Services, the world’s largest solar and battery storage O&M provider. He led global growth strategy, sales and marketing, product innovation, and customer experience across 12 countries and more than 30 GW of assets. His leadership helped stabilize the business through multiple CEO and COO transitions and drove the strategic growth plan successfully.
Previously, Timo was responsible for scaling First Solar’s post-sales operations across the globe, setting up customer support services centers in Asia, Europe and the USS. After joining First Solar’s Energy Services (O&M) division, he was instrumental in expanding its global portfolio from 4 GW to 14+ GW and helping lead its successful carve-out and acquisition by private equity.
With deep expertise in market expansion, deal structuring, team development, and operational turnaround, Timo is known for turning vision into execution and building trust-based partnerships that drive real-world impact. His leadership spans North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC—including several years of expatriate assignments in Europe and North America.
Timo holds degrees in Business Management and Electrical Engineering, and he is a regular speaker at leading industry events such as RE+, Intersolar, and the Solar Asset Management conference. Outside of work, he is a proud husband and father of two daughters, and an ultramarathoner who brings the same endurance and focus to business challenges as he does to the trail.

Julie Moeller
Julie is a global operations and revenue-growth-focused leader, known for her ability to fix complex problems and serve as a trusted business partner across rapidly evolving organizations. She brings deep expertise in global strategic planning, revenue growth, sales enablement, Order-to-Cash (OTC) optimization, and product strategy and execution. A forward-thinking strategist, Julie excels at building and communicating organization-wide goals and aligning teams through the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) methodology.
Julie began her career in speculative real estate development, leading development of residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Arizona. She earned her Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University. Over 15 years ago, driven by a desire to apply her development expertise to more meaningful work, she transitioned into renewable energy infrastructure—a move that brought her to First Solar (where she also met her husband and partner, Timo).
At First Solar, Julie quickly gained a reputation as a results-driven operator and problem solver. She was entrusted with launching new capabilities and leading turnarounds of teams and processes during the company’s post-IPO growth and vertical integration.
She later joined SOURCE Global, PBC, during its scale-up phase, serving as Vice President of Sales Operations and Customer Success. There, she honed her blend of operational excellence, strategic partnerships, and insight into the venture capital ecosystem—skillfully identifying opportunities, articulating value propositions, and navigating the complexities of VC-backed growth.
Since 2018, Julie has led Optimized Sustainability Solutions, a consulting firm focused on operational transformation and strategic growth. A few examples of her work include data-driven sales process overhauls; customer journey mapping; maturity modeling assessments including roadmap creation; managing deployment of new CRM systems, strategies and processes; the introduction of improved analytics and meaningful decision-driving KPIs; reduction of OTC liabilities through improved contract execution and workflow; organizational design; and the creation of enterprise-wide goal-setting and engagement programs.
In addition to Optimized Sustainability Solutions, Julie and Timo also own and operate a boutique personal training studio, located in Phoenix, AZ, featuring proprietary robotic equipment that delivers high-efficiency strength training with minimal time commitment and measurable results.
While she continues to support companies in renewable energy and resource conservation, Julie is especially passionate about working with female founder-led organizations and femtech startups—her newest client segments.
Julie is a proud wife and mama of two amazing young daughters. A lover of books, all water sports, and cultural experiences while traveling, she exerts an equal amount of effort avoiding cold weather activities whenever possible. She is also deeply passionate about food, holistic nutrition, and Ayurvedic and Eastern herbal medicine. One of her proudest personal development achievements is her culinary training at Institut Paul Bocuse while living in Lyon, France.
